SCULLING.
ARNST TO ROW HADFIELD. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. Richard Arnst this morning deposited £25 with R. P. Furness, proprietor of the Marlborough Express, covering Darcy Hadfield's deposit for the world's sculling championship, the race to be rowed on either the Wairau River or the Wanganui River. Arnst prefers the Wairau River, but nothing is definitely fixed. The champion starts training here immediately for the contest, -which takes place about three months hence.
