HEALTH FOR ALL A NEW SCIENCE. RATIONAL TREATMENT OF DISEASE. ' Within the last twenty years there has grown up in the minds of a large number of people a growing distrust of drugs, surgery, and other heroic disease. Coincident with this distrust, there has developed an increasing faith in the possibility of securing and retaining health through right living—that is, through obedience of Nature’s laws. The trouble with popular medical theories in the past has been that they fixed on the idea of disease and not on health. It has been the rule to try to overcome a disease by treating the disease itself —overlooking the fact that disease is a symptom, the result of long continuance of functional disorders. Ninety-nine per cent, of sick people are suffering from functional disorders. They are “opt of sorts;” their physical machinery is not running smoothly, being blocked with waste matter. Under these circumstances, it is useless to expect drugs to give permanent benefits. The new science says “Remove the cause and the disease disappears.” An eminent authority, Dr. Albert Searle Wayne, has ,by his teachings, placed himself in the forefront of the I new science of health. His achieve- ■ ments in the overcoming of disease by natural and rational methods have proved a blessing to thousands qf people. Dr. Wayne, in his publications, shows that practically all diseases are caused by “Autoxima,” which means self-poisoning or poisoning by compounds produced internally by oneself. Dr. Wayne, therefore, set himself to produce a preparation that would get rid of Autoxima, and maintain the internal cleanliness that is necessary for health.
