HAMILTON STOCK SALE.
The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co. Ltd., report:—At Hamilton on Thursday, we had a good average yarding of all classes of stock, most of which we were successful in disiposing of. Beef was in fair supply, but values were not up to the previous week. Steers made £9 6/; cows, best, £6 to £8 3/; smaller sorts, £4 15/ to £5 15/; store cows 15/ to £1 15/. Tne yarding of store cattle was lighter than usual, and without any improvement in price. Heifers, in calf (20 month) made £5 10/. Calves were easier than last week, good medium sorts making to 22/; small, 4/ to »/. The sheep pens were well filled, ana although values were not high, competition up to the point reached was fairly brisk. Fat ewes realised hom 14/6 to 17/; fat and forward wethers, 15/ to 17/; fat lambs, 15/9; store lambs, 6/2. Pigs showed no improvement on the previous weeks rates Baconers made to £4 6/; porkers £1 to £2 15/;.weaners, 3/6 to 10/. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agehicy iCoi. Ltd., report:— Prices at our Hamilton sale were: Fat cows, £5 5/ to £7 17/6; cows in fresh condition,' £2 8/ to £3; store cows, £1 10/ to £1 18/; ,18-month steers, £2 14/ to £3 6/; Jersey heifer calves, £3 1/; .Shorthorn heifer calves £1 2/ to £1 15/; steer calves, 16/ to 19/; fat ewes, 14/2 to 18/; fat pigs £3 4/ to £4 12/; store porkers 17/ to £1 11/; slips, 7/6 to 10/.
