AUSTRALIAN FIRM’S OFFER

(By Telegraph. Press Association.) HAMILTON, Wednesday. The Waikato-West Coast Light Railway Board has received an offer from an eminent Australian firm to finance and construct the whole of the lign railways from Hamilton to Raglan and Kawhia. . Arrangements are being made to meet the firm’s representative, who is a present in Canterbury. It is anticipated that the firm would be able to commence construction almost immediately.
