A SHIP’S OFFICER MISSING.
AUCKLAND, This Day
Mr Fred Banks, second officer of the steamer Corinna, is missing. He had been on shore leave at Onehunga, and did not return to the Corinna when that vessel sailed south on Tuesday last. There is no trace’of his whereabouts.
