Absolum, Secretary, Otahuhu Trotting Club,'Auckland, on THURSDAY, 24th February, 1921, at 5 p.m. Handicaps will appear on or about FRIDAY, 4th March, 1921. Acceptances close with the Secretary or Mr R. L. Absolum on FRIDAY, 11th March, 1921, at 5 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. All Races will be run under the Rules of the New Zealand Trotting Association. Horses must be registered with the Association and Provident Fund Fee of £1 to be paid before nomination. All nominations and acceptances must be accompanied by the necessary fees, otherwise they may be deemed informal. Any entry made by telegram must be confirmed in writing forthwith, giving full particulars. The Committee reserves the right to refuse any nomination without giving any explanation. Entries to state age, colour, and pedigree of horses, whether pacer or trotter, name of owner and trainer, colours of the .rider, and performances of all horses not known to the handicapper. NOTE. —All colours must be registered with the Association, and all riders must appear in proper costume and ride in colours declared. THIS RULE MUST BE STRICTLY OBSERVED. All races will be handicapped by distance. RULE 196. —Every person applying for admission to any course, and every person entering or endeavouring to enter a horse for any race, and every i person having or subsequently acquir-! ing any interest in any such horse, 1 shall be deemed to accept all the con- ’ ditions and restrictions imposed by or implied by these Rules, and to be barred from questioning the action of the Conference, Appeal Judges, Asso- j ciation, Club, Racing Club or Body, Committee, Stewards, Officials, Agents, or Servants in respect to any such person or horse or any person j connected therewith, otherwise than! is provided for in Part XXX. of these Rules.
