TENNIS CLUB.

(District Representative.) ' The annual meeting of the Kihikihi Tennis CJu'b was held on Monday evening fast, over which Mr J. J. Anderson presided. It was reported that there was a credit balance of £B.lßs, which was regarded as satisfactory. The courts were being prepared for the season’s play, and it was hoped that the official opening would take place shortly. The subscription was fjxed at 15s for men and 7s 6d for ladies. A hope was expressed that all would endeavour to promote the success of the club, and that a larger spirit of enthusiasm would prevail, .so that the season would be a record one. Officers were elected as follow: Patron, Mr F. F. Hockly, M.P.; president, Mr F. T. New; vice-presidents, Messrs J. G. Sutherland and K. Kerr; committee, Mrs W. F. Lees, Miss Clifford, and (Messrs W. T. Brabyn, J. J. Anderson, V. Fitz Patrick, Williams, and Olway, with Miss Clifford as secretary.
