AXEMAN’S CARNIVAL. GOOD .ENTRIES RECEIVED. Entries for the axemen’s section of the Labour Day Celebrations at Te Awamutu next Monday closed last night. It is evident that this will he a well-contested section of the day’s programme. The handicaps are declared as follows: — .Novice Chop Handicap: Ringham, D. Jones and E. Woolston, scratch; A.
