Mr H. Innes-Jones has been elected unopposed to the Te Awamutu Borough Council.
Miss Agnes Scully, travelling supervisor of telephone exchanges in New Zealand, was in Te Awamutu yesterday.
Mrs R. L. McPherson has been appointed assistant to the Kihikihi school.
The chairman and several members of the Thames County. Council were in Te Awamutu yesterday for the purpose of inspecting the bituco road formation in Alexandra Street.
