NOTICE is hereby given that the Ohaupo Town Board proposes to raise a special loan under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” The purpose for which the loan is required is to erect and construct a hall for public meetings and recreation purposes and as a memorial for fallen soldiers, with public offices for the Board, including all necessary labour, materials, plans, and supervision. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £3OOO. The proposed security for the loan is a special rate of five-eighths of a penny in the pound on the ratable value of all ratable property in the Town District of Ohaupo. It is proposed that the loan - shall be re-payable in 361 years, and to make provision for a sinking fund of one per cent per annum. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first year. By order of the Ohaupo Town Board. W. C. PICKETT E. J.
