NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Parawera Road Board, at an Ordinary Meeting to be held at the Board’s office, Te Awamutu, o the 18th day of June, 1920, to make and levy a General Rate of Five-eighths of a Penny in the Pound (£) on the capital value of all bataJble property in the Parawera Road District, under the provisions of Section 108 of “ The Road Board’s Act, 1908,” “The Rating Act, 1908,” and all other Acts and amendments thereof, enabling it in that behalf, for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1920, and ending on the 31st day of March. 1921, to .• become due and payable to the Treasurer, in one sum on the 30th September, 1920. The Valuation Roll is open for inspection at the Clerk’s office, Te Awamutu, during office hours. Dated this 22nd day of May, 1920. S. J. FORTOSCUE, Clerk and Treasurer. NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with Sections 48 to 55 of “ The Rating Act. 1905,” and its amendment, and Sections 31 to 33 of “ The Land Dainage Act. 1908,” and its amendments, that it is the intention of the Lower Mangapiko Drainage Board, at its next meeting, to be held on SATURDAY, the 19th day of June. 1920, to make and levy a general rate of one penny in the pound on the ratable unimproved value of land classed “A,” half-penny in the pound on the ratable unimproved value of land classed “ B,” and onetenth of a penny in the pound on the ratable unimproved value of land classed “ C,” for the period commencing Ist April, 1920, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1921. Such rate to be due and payable in one sum to the undersigned at the office of the Board, Alexandra Street, Te Awamutu. on the 30th day of September, 1921.
