Mr A. J. Denz, grand councillor at Wellington for the Frankton railway engineers, was in Te Awarauta >«sterday.

Mr H. L. Homan has been appointed district representative for the Waipa Post at Ohaupo, and took over the duties yesterday. Mr Homan has had a long experience of journalism, and until recently was on the staff of the Pahiatua Herald.
