Mr Selwyn.Mays was in Te Awamutu yesterday en route to Otorohanga.
Mr E. W. Kane, clerk of the House of Representatives, is in Te Awamutu and staying at the Commercal Hotel.
Mr F. F. Hockly, M.P., was a passenger for the north by the midday express from Te Awamutu yesterday.
Mr A. J. Denz, grand councillor at Wellington for the Frankton railway engineers, was in Te Awarauta >«sterday.
Mr H. L. Homan has been appointed district representative for the Waipa Post at Ohaupo, and took over the duties yesterday. Mr Homan has had a long experience of journalism, and until recently was on the staff of the Pahiatua Herald.
