CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. pROM lßth December to 9th January, inclusive, the usual 7.15 a.m. train Taumarunui to Frankton will leave Taumarunui at 8.30 a.m., Te Kuiti 10.50, Te Awamutu 12.10, arrive Frankton 12.56 p.m. This train stops atTe Kumi, Kio Kio, Te Kawa, Te Mawhai, Lake Road, and Rukuhia only to set down passengers from south of Te Kuiti. At other stations train will stop if required. The 1.40 p.m. train Frankton to Taumarunui will not leave Frankton till 1.45 p.m.. From 23rd December to 4th January, inclusive, the 8.30 a.m. Taumarunui-Frankton train and the 1.45 p.m. Frankton-Taumaru-nui train will run through to Auckland and from Auckland respectively. Holiday Excursion issued at any station north of Taumarunui will NOT be available by and will NOT be accepted on the Auckland - Wellington and Auckland-Palmerston North express trains from 18th December to Ilth January, inclusive, unless such tickets are for Taumaiunui or stations south thereof. From 18th December to 10th January an extra express train leaves Auckland for Wellington at 9.52 p.m. onSundavs, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; arrive Wellington at 3.59 p.m. next day. On 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 27th, and 31st December and Ist and 3rd January an extra express train leaves Auckland for Palmerston North at 6.58 p.m.; arrive Palmerston North 9.47 a.m. next day. From 18th December to 9th January an -extra express train leaves Wellington for Auckland at 2 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays,Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays; arrive Auckland at 7.50 a.m. next day. On 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 26th, and 31st December and Ist and 2nd January an extra express train leaves Palmerston North for Auckland at 3.18 p.m.; arrive Auckland 6.17 a.m. next day. On Sunday, 27th December, and Sunday,.3rd January, an express train leaves Auckland for Wellington at 1240 p.m. ; arrive Wellington 6.26 a.m. next day; and an express train leaves Wellington for Auckland at 1.10 p.m., arriving Auckland at 6.43 a.m. next day.
