ENTERTAINMENTS.

PREMIER PICTURES,

There was again a good attendance at the Town Hall on Tuesday evening to witness the programme submitted. The star picture "The Golden Beetle," was a drama of the sensational order, in which a gang of rogues figure prominently, and the hero of the story has some marvellous escapes from death. The scenic, Some good English winter scenes were shown, and were <{ appreciated by the audience. "The Construction of a Lifeboat," was interesting, and showed the process from the commencement till the boat reached the water. The comics were of a mirth-provok-ing kind. It was announce-i that owing to the hall being required next week for the Catholic Bazaar the pictures would not be shown. A good series of films is promised for the following week.
