FARMERS’ UNION RIFLE CLUB.

The adjourned meeting of the above club was held on Saturday evening at the Cosmopolitan club room. There were about fifteen members present, Mr C. M. Alexander presiding. Col. Ryder, organiser, stated what had been done up to the present. Over 60 names had been handed in by those willing to become members. He was ot the opinion that they should make a startstraight away, which was agreed on. Those belonging to other clubs would be allowed to transfer should they so desire. It would be the club’s intention to work in unison with other rifle clubs. A number of those present were then sworn in before Col. Ryder and Major Wynyard.

Members of the club were informed that they would be at liberty to collect new members.
