NO ALTERATION IN STOPPAGE AT TE AWAMUTU.

As announced by a WAIPA POST Extra on Saturday morning the stoppage of the Main Trunk Express trains at Te Awamutu is to be maintained. On Friday afternoon we were advised by Mr J. A. Young, member for the district, that he had been advised by the Hon. Minister of Railways that no alteration in the stopping places between Auckland and Te Awamutu was to be made. We have been later advised by- v Mr Young that this express services. express will made the stoppage as usual, although the 'oepartment positively declines to entertain the request for the stoppage of the day express.
