ENTERTAINMENTS.

Active preparations are being made 111 connection with the holding of an entertainment to raise money for a patriotic fund. Several of the choruses to be rendered are most appropriate, being selected from the cantata, "Britannia and Her Daughters," together with other patriotic music. Assistance has been promised from all the leading local performers, and it is anticipated there will be a large gathering at the Town Hall on Friday evening. Prices of admission will be 2s and Is, children half-price. Box plan at Spear's.
