A meeting of the directors of the Te Awamutu Theatre Company was held yesterday, all the provisional directors being present. It was decided to go to allotment forthwith. Mr. A. J. Bray, accountant Te Awamutu, was appointed secretary, and Messrs. Sinclair O’Connor and James Christie were appointed architects. Messrs. English and Luxford, auditors, and Mr. H. Y. Collins, solicitor. One of the directors announced that he would take 500 more shares and pay cash for same immediately the building was completed. The success of the company is now absolutely assured. Messrs. Middlebrook and Christie were added to the directorate. The first general meeting will be held within one month from this date, when the question of site will be settled. Meanwhile the share list is rapidly filling up. Application forms can be obtained from A. J. Bray, Alexandra street, Te Awamutu.
