Notice is given in to-dav’s issue of a concert to be held at the Paterangi public hall on Friday, July 10th. This concert is being held under the auspices of the Church of England. Further particulars are to be given at a later date. The committee of the Young Men’s Institute have arranged to have a professional in attendance at the gymnasium meeting next Tuesday evening, and it is hoped that members and intending members will take the opportunity of ’seeing a good exhibition and obtaining as much instruction as time will permit. The committee are to be congratulated on the forward step for the benefit of the younger members, and if sufficient interest is shown it is proposed to arrange regular classes.
