The match for the Ross trophy took place at the Te Awamutu rifle range on Saturday a I icrnoon. There was a most unfavourablewind prevailing throughout the afternoon, and considci i.ig this the marksman put up a very creditable record, dhe match was at 300, 500) an d boo yards, and at the conclusion of the shoot the scores recorded proved Mr H. Lenehan to be the winner. The detailed results are :
