The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report : OHAUPO SALE.. There was a small entry of cattle at Ohaupo on Tuesday last, but good prices were obtained. Fat cows made £5 15s to £6 17s, fresh cows £3 17s 6d to £4 6s, according to condition, calves £1 I2s to £2 2s 6d. HAMILTON SALE. At Hamilton, on Thursday, we submitted 750 sheep, mostly fat ewes and lambs, 56 fat cattle, 248 stores and 55 pigs/ A good number of buyers present required stock of all classes, and we report a successful sale and satisfactory prices throughout. We quote : —Small fat steers £7 12s 6d, heavy fat cows £7 ils to £8 ios, lighter weights £5 5s to £6, fat heilers £4 18s, empty fresh to forward cows £3 18s to £4 15s, store cows £3 to £3 13s, calves £1 9s to £1 16s, fat ewes 15s 2d to 16s, fat wethers 18s 2d, fat 2-tooth ewes 17s, .woolly lambs 9s iod to I2s 6d, shorn lambs 6s iod to ios 3d, porkers £l 7s to £2, slips 15s 6d to 18s.
