WORK RESUMED AT HUNTLY

In conversation this morning with the proprietors of the Huntly Press we are informed that work was resumed at the mines this morning. In all, thirty-six men entered the mines, and there was comparatively no molestation or objection offered. About 30 mounted constables are in the town, whilst several hundred constables are encamped within a few miles in readiness to quell any disturbances that may arise. Work is proceeding, and it is not anticipated that any trouble with the men will be experienced.
