He is full brother to the peerless Ribbonwood (2.9), for eight years champion of Australasia, and who was displaced from that proud position by his own son King Cole by twofifths of a second over a mile course. Ribbonwood has 20 performances at better than 2.25 to the mile. GHOAI, with no chances, is sire of Futurity Ghoam (2 miles in 4.53, a high-class performance for a 3-year-old filly), and the trotters Desmond, Igho, and Myrtle G.
