METEOROLOGICAL.
The Rev. D. C.' Bates sent us the following at 12 noon yesterday :
Winds: variable and strongbreezes, with easterly moderate to strong prevailing ; squally at times. Weather will probably prove thick and foggy. Fleavy rain is to be expected, with rivers rising slowly.
