ELECTRIC LIGHT.
TO THE EDITOR. SIR, —The spirit of hostility exhibited by Voter in his attempt to reply to my letter, would injure any cause. His remarks re travel and literature are paltry and absurd. It was clearly stated in my last letter “ let us have the things that are essential first,” and yet he enlarges on the indefinite wait. Are roads, pavements, and sanitation unworthy of consideration, or were my questions unreasonable? I think not, but they were too much for him. Fancy a man, talking of literature, having the temerity to reply to a letter without attempting to answer any of its ques-tions.—-I am, etc., Pro Bono Publico.
