HAMILTON SALE. At Hamilton yards on November 20th. we had an entry of 120 pigs, 1197 sheep and 608 head of cattle. The enquiry for all classes of stock was good, and. practically the whole yarding was disposed of at prices fully up to'those ruling the last couple or weeks. Weaner pigs made I2s 6d to 18s, slips 25s to 40s, porkers £2 5s to £2 10s. The sheep were practically all fats. Fat shorn wethers sold from 19s 6d to 22s 6d, fat shorn ewes 15s 6d to 19s 6d, fat lambs 13s 9d, fat hoggets in wool 20s to 22s 6d, fat wethers in wool 25s 3d, store wethers in wool 2is Bd, small fat steers £7 5s to £9 12s, killable 2-year steers £5 12s 6d to 5 18s, fat cows £5 ios to £7 Bs, fresh conditioned cows £4 ios to £5, choice 15 to 18 months heifers £3 15s to £4 ss, 2-year steers £4 5s to £4 18s, 9 yearling heifers £3lO £3 ss, smaller cattle £2 ios to £2 15s, dairy cows and heifers £5 to £7, bulls £4 4s to £9 9s. NGARUAWAHIA SALE. At Ngaruawahia on Friday last we had an entry of 1433 head of cattle and 788 sheep. There was a very large attendance of buyers, competition was keen, and extreme prices were obtained for all classes. Of the cattle, 570 were fresh-conditioned bullocks, three years and upward. The best of these made from £8 5s to £9 4s, and none sold under £7 ; 2to 2 I A year steers £6 to £5 15s, 2 year steers £4 5s to £4 I2s 6d, fat cows £6 6s to £7 6s, fresh empty cows £4lss to £5 13s, aged store" cows £2 13s to £3 15's, 15 to 18 month steers £3 ios to £4, yearlings £3 to £3 9s, smaller cattle 2 losto £2 15s, shorn ewes with 100 per cent lambs 20s, woolly hoggets in good order 19s, shorn fat ewes 17s id. TE AWAMUTU SALE. At Te Awamutu on last we had an entrv of 726 head of cattle. Buyers were requiring all classes, and the sale was a satisfactory one. Small fat steers made £8 ios, fat cows £5 8s to £7 15s, springing cows and heifers £3 15s to £5 15s, three year old store steers £6 vis to £7 6s, two year steers £4 7s 6d to £4 12s 6d, 15 months old steers £3 19s to £4 4s, yearling steers £3 2s to £3 Us, choice yearling heifers £3 5s to £3 12s, Smaller yearlings £2 15s to ■£%, bulls 4%gns to 7gns, weaner pigs 15s to 17s 6d, pen of fat shorn sheep I7s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports : CLEARING SALES. On 2lst November we held a clearing sale of live and dead stock on account of Mr William Graham, and report a most successful sale. A large attendance of buyers came from Tirau, Okoroire, Matamata, Hamilton, and surrounding districts ; consequently bidding was brisk. The dairy cows and heifers in milk were a choice lot, and, considering the present labour troubles, sold really well, the best cows making up to £l2 (most of them from £9 ios to £l2), heifers in milk £8 to £lO 10s, culled dairy cows £4 15s to £6 10s, store cows £3 15s to £4 I2s 6d, yearlings £2 Bs, this season's calves 12 6d to 17s, medium draught mares £24 ios to £26 ios, plough horses £lO, ponies 0 10s to £6. The pigs were a choice lot. Devon sows in pig made 6gns to9%gns, curly coated sow £3 ios, Devon boar 2 gns, young Devon boars Ign to 2s£gns, slips 17s to £l Bs. The farm implements, waggon, spring dray, harness, sundries, and furniture all realised good prices. At Mr P. F. Higgin's clearing sale at Ohinewai, on Saturday last, horses, dairy cows, implements, etc., realised most satisfactory prices. CAMBRIDGE SALE. . At Cambridge, on Monday last, we yarded 1158 head of cattle, which were all required by buyers present, and prices showed a considerable on late sales. Good*fat cows made from £7 5s to £B, others £5 18s to £6 15s, cows in forward condition £4 10s to £5 7s, small fat steers £8 ios, store cows £3 3s to £3 18s, 3 to 3% year steers £6 8s 6d to £7 ss, 18 months to 2 year steers £4 is to £4 Bs,»well-grown 15 months steers £3 lis to £3 17s, others £2 15s to £3 6s, mixed yearlings £2 13s to £3 8s 6d, 12 to 18 months heifers £2 13s to £3 ios, springing heifers £6 to £lO, weaner pigs 13s to 18s, slips £l is to £l 3s, porkers £l 14s to £l 15s.
