Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: — HAMILTON STOCK SALE. We held our usual sale in the Hamilton yards on Thursday, the 13th instant, when we yarded 596 head of cattle, 257 sheep and 22 pigs. There was a fair attendance of buyers and we report having cleared most of the yarding. We quote : —Fat bullocks, light weights £8 4s to £9, fat cows, heavy weights £6 l<ssto£B, ditto light weights £5 5s to £6 9s, forward empty cows £4 3s to £5 is, store cows £2 10s to £3 10s, cows with calves £4 10s to £6 ss, 3-year steers £6 to £6 8s 6d, 2%year steers £5 10s, 2-year steers
£4 5s to £4 15s, yearlings £2 I2s 6d to £3 2s, 2-year empty heifers £4 to £4 ss, yearling heifers £2 12s to £3, bulls, weighty £5 5s to £6 16s, Holstein bulls 4 to 7gns, cull bulls I to 3gn&. springers £5 2s 6d to £7, fat wethers £l Is, fat ewes £l is 6d, hoggets 14s 6d, weaner pigs 13s to 14s 6d, fat pigs £2 7s. NGARUAWAHIA. We held our monthly sale in the above yards on Friday, 14th, when we had a fair yarding. Owing to several of the farmers being absent in Auckland on account of the strike bidding dragged throughout. ■ 1
