MOTICE is hereby given that the Te Awamutu Town Board proposes to raise a special loan under the provisions of " The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," and "The Local Bodies' Loans Amendment Act, 1910." The purpose for which the loan is required is to purchase and construct works, lines, and appliances for the supply of electricity and electric lighting, including all necessary land, buildings, machinery, plant, and materials. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £BOOO. The proposed security for the loan is the said works, lines, appliances, land, buildings, machinery, plant, and materials, and the revenues therefrom (after payment of working expenses), and a special rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the ratable value of all ratable property in the Te Awamutu Town District. The loan is to be for a term of thirty-six years, at five per cent per annum, and provision is to be made for a sinking fund of one per cent per annum.
