Herd Laddie was bred bv Mr Jno. Templeton, St. Quivox, Ayrshire. His sire, Jemmie Gray, clam, Sally, by Baronet. Lord Salisbury (imp.) was bred by Jas. Cunningham, Tarbreoch, Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbrightshire. Sire, Young Conqueror; dam, Darling, by Tintock. Lord Salisbury was never beaten in a show yard.
