We held our annual springhorse fair at Ohaupo on 15th, 16th and 17th inst., when we submitted 79 unbroken colts and fillies, 252 draughts broken and 236 light horses. There was a large attendance each day, and good competition throughout for young good sorts, active draughts selling exceptionally well. Prices:

Unbroken three year draughts £26 lOs to £32 lOs, light two and three olds £5 5s to £l2 15s, heavy draughts, broken £3B to £49, medium draughts £29 to £34, spring cart horses £27 to £3l lOs, farm horses £l9 lOs to £25, aged draughts £l3 10s to £lB, hacks £ls to £27, buggy and ’bus horses £ls 15s to £23, saddle and harness cobs £lO to £l4, ponies £3 to £6. BULL SALE AT OHAUPO. Our annual bull sale at Ohaupo was held on Wednesday last, 22nd inst., and was most successful. We penned 223 bulls, and

nearly all sold at following prices :—Two year old Shorthorn bulls on account of Mr G. Finch, I3gns to 22%gns ; on account of Mr T. .C. Blackett, to 20gns ; on account of other vendors, 7gns to I3gns; yearling Shorthorn bulls, 6gns yearling Holstein bulls 7gns to lOgns. TE KUITI SALE. At Te Kuiti, on Wednesday, 22nd inst., three and a-half year old steers and a-half year old steers, £5 7s 6d to £5 14s; two year old steers, £4 8s to £4 15s; 15 months old steers, £3 I2s; yearling steers; £2 15s to £3 3s; 18 months old steers, £3 17s to £4 5s ; two year old empty heifers, £4 2s 6d; yearling heifers, £2 8s to £2 15s; Jersey heifers, £3 Is; killable cows, £6; ewes and lambs, £1 Os 6d ; fat ewes and wethers, shorn, 18s 6d.
