SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

A meeting of the Te Awamutu School Committee took place in the secretary’s office on Tuesday afternoon. There were present: Rev. F. W. Clarke (chairman), Messrs A. S. Wallace, W. F. Stewart, G. Spinlev, Dr Henderson and M. C. Lawson (secretary). TECHNICAL SCHOOL. The chairman and Messrs vmi Stunner and Stewart were appointed a committee to wait upon certain residents with reference to the proposed establishment of the district technical school. NEW SCHOOL. ■‘ c ’ It was arranged that the Town Board, Chamber of Commerce and the School Committee confer together and appoint one or two valuators to value the Educational Board’s property with- the view to complying with the request made by. delegates of the. Education Board at the recent conference at Te Awamutu.
