TE AWAMUTU TOWN BAND.

A meeting of the committee of the Te Awamutu Town Band together with lady supporters was held in the WAIPA POST offices on Wednesday evening.' Mr W. F. Stewart (president) presided. . The ladies explained that proposal of the committee to postpone the bazaar until Easter was not favoured by them, as they had already a quantity of summer material made up. In view of the circumstances it was unanimously resolved that the ~ bazaar be held upon the dates originally intended (November 14th ancl 15th). The reports of the different committees showed that a very satisfactory amount of work was being done, and present indications point most successful bazaar being . held.' It was decided to invite Mr Young, M.P. (Waikato), to ' officially open the bazaar.
