Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report as follows : HAMILTON STOCK SALE. We held our usual sale in the Hamilton yards on Thursday, the nth instant, when'we yarded 416 head of cattle, 153 sheep and 69 pigs. There was a good attendance of buyers and bidding was brisk throughout. As with most sales lately poor class dairy heifers were hard to quit. TE AROHA STOCK SALE. We held our monthly sale in these yards on Friday, the I2th instant, when we yarded 343 head of cattle, also sheep and pigs and sundries. There was a good attendance of buyers and all lines sold well with the exception of dairy stock, which were dull of sale. We quote 2% to 3-year steers £6 to £6 10s, 2-year steers £4 18s to £s'2s, fat cows £5 10s to £6, forward empty cows £4 to £4 I2s empty store cows £2 17s 6d to £3 Iss, bulls £2 to £5 ss, empty heifers £3 17s 6d to £4 7s, yearling heifers £2 15s to £3 ss, yearling steers £2 I2s 6d to £3 is, 3year heifers close to profit £5 5s to £9 2s 6d, dairy heifers, backward £3 15s to £4 15s, dairy cows £4 TOs to £6 los, f.m. ewes in lamb £1 Os 7d, slips £1 2s. TE AWAMUTU STOCK SALE. We held our monthly sale in the Te Awamutu yards on Saturday, the 13th instant, when we yarded 430 head of store cattle and 226 head ot dairy stock, also pigs, etc. There was a large attendance ot buyers, and all lines of store stock sold well. Dairy stock were dull of sale. We quote: — Fat bullocks £8 5s to £9, forward conditioned 3-year bullocks £7 fs 6d, fat cows £6 5s to £7 I2s 6d, fat heifers £4 17s 6d to £6 10s, forward empty cows £4 2s to £4 16s, store cows £3 5s to £3 17s 6d, cows with calves £4 2s 6d to £5, 2-year steers £44s to £5,18-month empty heifers £3 5 s to £3 19 s . best yearling steers £3 4s to £3 18s, best yearling heifers £3 5s to £3 18s, good yearlings £2 I2s to £3, small yearlings £l 10s to £2 2s, dairy cows £5 ios to £7 ss, dairy heifers best £5 lOs to £8 ss, dairy heifers backward and poor £3 15s to £4 lOs, slips £1 3s to £l 14c, weaners Ils to 18s, sows in nig 3gns to-£3 lOs. A choice line of yearling steers from M. Corcoran, Harapepe, made £3 18s. CLEARING SALES. During the month we have held clearing sales on account of Me-srs J. H. Smith, Hinuera ; F. E. B. Lovelock, Eureka ; and W. Platt, Ngaroto. At all the above sales there has been a good attendance of buyers, and all stock, implements, etc., sold at full values. AUCKLAND MARKET REPORT* Mr J. Jones, auctioneer, Victoria and Lome Streets, Auckland, reports : For to-day, auction, |i ; . ,!?ry were not in so heavy .supply as last week, and for good table birds prices firmed consi/ rably. For some choice table
birds record prices were obtained. Potatoes, pigs, cheese and eggs are much firmer. We quote : Poultry : 650 penned roosters, extra prime lots 4s iod to 5 s iod ; good, 4s to 4s 6d ; others, 3s to 3s lOd ; small, 2s to 2s 9d ; hens 2s 9d to 3s 4d, extra good 3s 5d to 3s iod ; duck's 2s 6d to 3s 8d ; turkey gobblers Bs'9d to 13s 6d, hens 5s to 6s 9d ; geese 4s 9d. Pigs 1.6 s to £l los.
Produce : Potatoes, table £4 to £4 TOs, seed varieties £3 to £6, pumpkins lOs, swedes £l ios to £2, cabbages 5s 6d. Dairy Produce: Butter lo%d to I id, eggs, fresh is to is o%d, cheese 6d to 6%d, hams factorv to ll%d, sides 9d to 9/^d. Fruit: Choice apples ils 6d to 13s, good 9s to lOs, lemons, market weaker 5s to ys, P.M. oranges 5s 6d to 7s. Grain: Maize 4s 3d to 4s iod, wheat 4s to 4s 6d, oats, feed 2s lOs to 3s 2d, oats, seed 3s qd, bran £4 ios, sharps £6 ss, chaff £6 ios.

clearing Sales.
We held a clearing sale on Saturday last, 13th instant, at Churchill, on account of Mr E. P. Hill. There was a large attendance, and brisk competition, excellent prices being obtained for all stock. Dairy cows in milk and at profit made £8 to £ll, more backward £4 15s to £6 15s, springing heifers £6 5s to £8 ss, calves £9, breeding sows £3 2s 6d to £4 ss, weanerpigs 16s to 19s, porkers £1 3s to £1 ss, sundries, furniture, etc., good values. At the clearing sale held on Monday, near Ohaupo, on account of Mrs Dodd and Mr A. G. Lebeau, daiiy cows made £6 ios to £lO ss, late calvers £4 2s 6d to £4 15s, springing heifers £6 lOs, calves 13s, spring cart horse £2B, buggy mare £l3> harness and sundries at usual rates.
