At a meeting of creditors in the estate of Paora Nia Nia, of Te Aute, held on Friday, the examination of the bankrupt showed that Some three years ago he received f2OOO odd. from the sale of land, most of which he squandered in about six months. Bankrupt’s statement of affairs showed assets £6, but under cross-ex-amination lie admitted owning a house valued at £.350 which, subsequent to erection, he discovered was on another man’s land. Creditors asked for a public examination, and promised to give an indemnity fortheSupreme Court expenses.
