FIRE BRIGADE.
A meeting of the Te Awamutu Volunteer Fire Brigade was held in me Cosmopolitan club room on Wedn.sday evening. Present: Capt. Biekerstaff (chairman), Foreman Moeller, Firemen Haselden, Paul, Edward?. Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. An invitation was received from the secretary of the Cambridge Volunteer Fire Brigade to attend their annual social to be held on July 16th. —It was resolved that the invitation be accepted, and that the secretary represent the brigade. It was resolved that next week be '" Fire Brigade Week," when a special'effort will be made to collect funds in aid of the brigade, and that all lists be handed in by 19th instant. It was proposed to hold the euchre party and dance on August 6th, and that all arrangements in connection therewith be left in the hands of the secretary.
