KIHIKIHI.

(Own Correspondent)

The Presbyterian Church was filled to overflowing on Sunday evening, when Mr O. Price Owen preached his farewell sermon. Previous to his sermon Mr Owen said that it was with great regret that he laid away his work. He had no desire to leave, but as certain proposals were made to him in regard to his he felt in justice to himself not beingable to accept the proposal, that he must adhere to his decision and resign. Mr Owen made an eloquent appeal to the congregation to show to his successor the help and kindness and support that they had always shown to him. Mr Owen's resignation dates from Sunday last, June 29. During the service, the sacred solo, " He Shall Feed His Flock," was sung by Miss Margaret Mackenzie.
