WAIPA RACING CLUB.

The annual meeting of the above club took place in Luks’ hotel (commercial, room) or. Saturday evening evening. There was a large number of members present. Mr E. B. Walker was voted to the chair. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

The balance-sheet was submitted by the secretary and showed a credit balance of

£75 Os lid. Messrs J. Luxford, Murtagh, Briscoe, C. Virtue, H. Briscoe, and Jno. Hutchinson junr., were elected members of the club.

The following officers were elected : —Patrons : Messrs J. A. Young and F. W. Lang, M.s’P. ; president: Wm. Taylor, Esq.; vice-presidents: Messrs A. Wallace, F. McGovern, senr., W. G. Park, C. J.
