KIHIKIHI.
(Own Correspondent). A most enthusiastic meeting of the Kihikihi Hack Racing Club was held in the Town Hall on Friday evening. It was decided that the secretary write to the 1 VVhala YVhala Racing Club informing them that they could not i see their way clear to alter the dav of the meeting, January Ist. | A vote of thanks was accorded | to the out-going committee, and a new committee was elected as : follows : —A. MeCardle. R. Henderson, J. Anderson, A. Mold, A. Anderson, E. Aldersoifi and C. Thomson, with power to add. All present at the meeting
were elected members of the club. President, Mr W. G. Kay ; secrelarv, Mr C. O’Brien; treasurer. Mr J. G. Elmsly ; luindicapper, Mr H. Weal;clerks of course, Messrs A. Cullen and Harry Kav ; starter, Mr W. Kay ; clerk of scales, Mr J. Anderson ; surgeons, Drs Crosby, Henderson, and Reekie ; judges, Messrs McFlinn, and G. McGhie ; stewards, all the* committee ; protest committee, Messrs A. McCardle, W. McCathie, and W. G. Kay; chairman of committee, Mr A. McCardle.
