NEW POST OFFICE FOR OHAUPO.

It will be very interesting news for the Ohaupo residents and surrounding districts to learn that the plans for the new Post Office are at the Ohaupo railway station or the public inspection. Tenders have been called and are advertised to close June 4. The offices will be a handsome two-storey building, with a front elevation of 29ft 6in, and side elevation of 48ft 4in, with necessary outbuildings. Great appreciation is due to our popular manager of the Ohaupo branch of the Farmers’ Auctioneering Co., Mr Bailey, for the painstaking manner in which he has urged the just claims of the district for better postal facilities.
