FIRE BRIGADE BENEFIT.

On Wednesday nigln at the Town Hall a benefit picture entertainment was tendered to the Te Awamutu Volunteer Fire Brigade by Mr J. Langmuir, proprietor of the Premier Pictures. Ihe programme was one of the best that has yet been screened in Te Awamutu, including as it did some high-class dramas. Mr A. C. Edwards, on behalf of the brigade, thanked Mr Langmuir for his generosity in assisting that body, and wished him every success with his entertainments.

Mr Langmuir, replying, said he was only sorry that the attendance had not been larger. He was always willing to assist such a useful organisation as the fire brigade.
