HAMILTON STOCK SALE,
We held our usual sale in the Hamilton yards on Thursday, 17th inst., when we had a yarding of 3035 sheep, 504 head cattle and 41 pigs. There was a good attendance of buyers and most of the lines offered found purchasers. We quote: —Fat steers light weights £7 10s to £8 ss, fat cows and heifers £5 15s to £6 Bs, empty cows £3 to £3 10s, cows with calves £2 15s to £4, yearling steers £2 10s to £3, 18-month heifers in calf £3 Iss, yearling heifers empty £3, good calves £l 7s 6d to £1 17s, calves poor and weedy 10s to 18s, spring heifers £6 ss. Fat wethers l6s to IQs, fat ewes 14s to 15s Bd, fat lambs 13s id to 14s id, store lambs (shorn) 6s 7d to 9s 6d, store lambs (woolly) 8s to I2s 6d, f.m. ewes in lamb lls to I2s, 2-tooth wethers 12s 7d, s.m. empty ewes 8s 6d to 9s 6d. Weaner pigs 7s to 14s, baconers £2 to £2 10s. OHAUPO STOCK SALE. We held our usual fortnightly sale in the above yards on Tuesday, the 22nd instant when we yarded 2439 sheep and 225 head of cattle. Bidding was dull throughout and a lot of the lines were passed in. We quote: — f.f.m. ewes in lamb I2s 3d,, shorn lambs 7s to 8s- 9d, cull lambs 3s 3d to 5s 6d, yearling steers £2 13s, heifers in calf £4 ss, empty cows £3, good calves £l 15s. TE UKU STOCK SALE.
We held our monthly sale in these yards on Wednesday, the 23rd inst., when we had a full yarding and a good at'endance of buyers. We quote : —Fat cows £6, steers £4 19s, 2-year heifers in calf £4 16s, yearling steers and heifers £2 14s to £3 2s, cows with calves £3 10s to £5 2s, calves 28s to 375, spring heifers £6 10s to £7 2s 6d, f.m. ewes 8s 3d.
