Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows HAMILTON STOCK SALE. We held our usual tri-weekly sale in the above yards on Thursday, the 13th inst.,_when we. had a fair yarding. Bidding was dull for all classes of stock, but we managed to dispose of most of the lines passed in after the sale. We quote:—Fat cows and heifers £5 6s to £6 I2s, forward empty cows £4 5 s to £5, store cows £3 3s to £3 I9 S > cows with calves £5 10s to £6 Bs, bulls £3 to £6, yearling steers £2 I2s 6d to £3 3s, 18-month heifers in calf £3 16s, calves gooc? £l 7s to 32s 6d,' calves poor and weedy 7s to 15s. fat wethers 16s 6d to 18s, fat ewes 15s 6d, fat lambs I is to 14s 7d, store ewes 6s id to 10s, store lambs 3s 7d to ss, porkers £1 7s, slips 18s, weaners 7s to 10s.

HAMILTON HORSE FAIR. We held our Horse Fair in the Hamilton Horse Bazaar on Friday and Saturday, the 14th and 15th instant, when more than the advertised number of horses came forward. Young and sound horses were easier in price, but old draughts, and poor light horses sold well.' The top price of the sale was £43 for a 3-year-old colt, bred by Mr A. Ramsay, of Tauwhare. We quote :—Unbroken draughts £lB to £22 lOs, unbroken hacks £6 to £ll, unbroken ponies £1 to £3 ios, mares with foals £1 to £3 15s, 3 and 4year draughts £2B to £43, aged draughts £lO to £lB, medium draughts £lB to £26, light hacks and harness horses 6s to 18s, ponies 10s to £2 ios.
