WAIPA GUN CLUB.
A committee meeting of the above club was held in the Cosmopo'itan club room last night the chair being taken by Mr Vile. Minutes. ' The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence.
A letter was read from the secretary of the Te Kuiti club suggesting the holding of a match between the Te Kuiti and Waipa gun clubs. The secretary was instructed to write in reply asking the Te Kuiti club to arrange a day for visiting Te Awamutu after 19th inst. Norden's; Cup. It was resolved that Mr Norden's cup be shot for on Saturday next the 15th inst., and won twice in succession or three times at intervals. Ballastite Cup. It was resolved that the following members be asked to attend the shoots on Wednesday and Saturday next to enable the committee to pick a team to visit Te Aroha on Wednesday 22nd inst., and compete for the Ballastite Cup:—Messrs Jull, Wheeler, Garland, A. W. Jones, Pollard, Corrigan, Bell, Benzie, McMurray, Christian, F. Taylor, Winger, McSweeney, Daking, G. Prettley, I. Jones and E. Moeller.
