OUR MISS GIBBS.
VISITS TE AWAMUTU., Playgoers will be pleased to learn that we are to have a visit from the famous Merry Widow Opera Company on Wednesday, February 12th, and that they are presenting the much read and talked about comic opera “Our Miss Gibbs,” which has been such a phenomenal success in Australia and the big centres of New Zealand. The company visiting us is an exceptionally strong one, being thirty-five in number including, besides the principles, a chorus ballet and efficient orchestra. They are putting up record business everywhere in the Dominion ; in some of the towns the halls and theatres have been all too small to accommodate all desirous of seeing the famous opera. The box-plan is now open at Le Sueur’s, and intending patrons would do well to reserve seats without delay. No extra charge is made for booking. Mr Frank O’Sullivan is in advance of the company.
