BOWLING.
The first game in the second round of the pairs tournament between the Rev. Woollass and Mr D. Bockett against Messrs White and Jefferv resulted in a win for the former the scores being 18 to 17. Messrs Collins and Le Sueur beat Messrs Empson and C. Bowden 20 to 15. The following have been selected to represent Waikato against Timaru at Hamilton on Wednesday and Friday of next week : —Messrs Norden, Wallace, Laurie, and von Sturmer. A second team will be picked tomorrow.
