WAIPA GUN CLUB.
The competition for the , Colonial Ammunition Company’s " trophy took place in Mr Pollard’s paddock on Saturday last, len members competed, and there was a fair attendance of spectators. Mr PI. Jull was the winner, scoring 10 hits, Mr L. Garland A, being second with 9. The following is a list of the scores with handicap :
A well-attended meeting of the committee of the above club was held in the Cosmopolitan Club Room last night, the chair being taken by the president (Mr Christian). The resignation of the secretary, Mr Dug Edwards, was received, and Mr Boyce Campbell was appointed in his place. It was resolved that a match be held to-morrow (Wed- ‘ nesday) for the Colonial Ammunition Co.’s second trophy, and that if there were sufficient entries Mr David Silk’s trophy should also be competed for. Ihe meeting ‘ closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
