Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: — NGARUAWAHIA SALE. / We held our monthly sale in these yards on Friday the nth inst, when more than the advertised number came forward, every pen being utilised. We have to report an extra goo,d demand, every pen being cleared under the hammer. Amongst the lines offered were 300 choice 2 and 3 year bullocks from Te Akau, for which competition was very keen. We quote : 3-year bullocks £6 to £6 16s, 2%-year birilocks £5 9s to £5 15s, 2-year bullocks £4 Us to £4 18s, 2-year empty heifers £4 5s to £4 I2s, yearling heifers £3' 6s to £4, yearling to 18-month steers £3 6s to £4, good calves £1 15s to £2 lis, fat cows £5 is to £5 ios, bulls £4 to £4 ios, springing heifers close to profit £6 to £7 15s, backward heifers £4 is to £4 15s.
