WHEY BUTTER.

BRANDING REGULATIONS RE-

QUIRED

As a result of the recommendation made by the Inspector ol New Zealand Dairy Produce in London, in his annual report, that whey butter should be branded as such, Mr H. J. 11. Okcy, member for Taranaki, has given notice in the Plouse of Representatives that he will ask the Minister for Agriculture whether his attention has been drawn to the unsatisfactory reports on whey butter from the Inspector of New Zealand Dairy Produce in London, and the disastrous effect it is likely to have in lowering the high standard of quality of the New Zealand butter on the Home market; and whether he will amend the Dairy Act and Regulations making it compulsory to brand it as whey butter.
