On Thursday next Miss Ella •Carrington, Mr Charlie Taylor, and thei" company in support will appear in.the Town Hall in "Uncle Tom's Cabin." An exchange says :—" The Opera House was crowded to the doors last night to witness the TaylorHarrington Dramatic Company's performance of "Uncle Tom's Cabin,", and from the rise of the curtain until its final fall the audience was kept busy either applauding, laughing, or crying. Miss Carrington was responsible for the major portion. of the laughter, and it is not too much to say of her performance of Topsey that it is unquestionably the best impersonation of the 'coloured imp ' the Dominion has ever seen." The staging of the play is also highly spoken of.
