We, held our usual monthly
sale, in the above yards on Saturday last,\when we had a large yarding,' every pen being filled. The total entry was 637 head cattle, besides sheep and pigs. There was a large attendance of buyers, and bidding was spirited, all lines changing hands. We quote :—Fat bullocks to £lO, fat cows £5 18s to £6 17s, fat heifers

At Matamata on 14th inst., we yarded 639 head of cattle, also sheep and\ pigs. There was a large attendance of buyers, from Waikato districts, Mamaku, Rotorua and Te Puke, and the whole entry was disposed of under brisk competition. Prices: Heavy !
